The Power of Prayer

I believe in prayers. I pray every day -- usually multiple times.

I also believe that sometimes the answer is "No, I have a different plan."

If we participate in a prayer chain, are we inundating God with prayers to make things go our way? I often do this. I pray hard, loud and often. Then I have to remind myself that my way may not be His way.

God always answers our prayers-but not always the way we would like or when we would like. We just need to trust Him. He is all knowing. Prayer chains are great but the bottom line is He knows what we need even before we ask. And as his children he wants us to go to Him with all our problems. Call me anytime. Beth

Do you always find your prayers are asking for something to be resolved. I do.

I try to make it a point to thank the big guy/gal for what I have.

I do struggle with believing in the power of prayer but it does not stop me from the activity. No matter what I believe, I get a sense of serenity from the process.

I like to try and curb myself from constantly asking for something and focus on sometimes on acknowledging the blessings I have.

God must feel like a charity request and suggestion box.
