The Little Woman

Recently, I was with the husband and someone he knew came up to greet him. He asked, "Is this the little woman?"

This was a gracious and charming elderly gentleman but being called "the little woman" is a little like having someone scrape fingernails across the chalkboard. It's not a nickname I would choose.

I smiled. I saw the flash of fear in the husband's eyes. I kept it under control.

The husband knows the little woman has a big mouth.

Sheri:

These blogs are priceless!

Have you ever considered compiling these as a memior for a future book format?

I know you are extolling very personal information but I think this would make a good book.

You have been very forthright in sharing very personal information about life with older parents moving into your life--- but --- I feel publishing this would help many millions of people going through the same experience would benefit.

Just a thought.

Take care and best regards,

Rich

It could be worse, when people see me with the pastor it's more like, "So this is the heifer we have heard so much about,we will pray for you". My philosophy has always been if people think you are a heifer(hard to deal with,or uninterested) they will leave you alone and go on their happy little way. I wont sign this for fear someone in the universe may read this and know who the pastor is.I agree, you need to compile this and make a best seller!!Love to you both.
